In Dijon, a stone owl is said to grant wishes to those who touch it with their left hand while turning their back on a nearby salamander. Months after his sister’s suicide, a broken man comes to make a wish. Frustrated by the justice system’s failure to hold one of those responsible accountable, he decides to take matters into his own hands.
